Patrick & Hannah | Albuquerque, Koinonia Gardens Wedding

Something so so special about my job is being able to see friends of mine find their husband or wife and capture their special day. Patrick and Hannah’s Koinonia Gardens Wedding was just that.

Hannah is one of those girls that just beams with natural beauty and their wedding reflected that. Because they chose such a naturally beautiful venue (guys, the gardens were so pretty. *insert heart eye emoji here* ha), they barely had do any decorating to get the warm, natural setting Patrick and Hannah were looking for their wedding day. The decor they did have, Patrick and Hannah made together as a couple or with their family and friends. I love that.

 

Everything from the flow of the ceremony to the music that played was well thought out because that’s just how Patrick and Hannah do things. They are intentional. Faith in Jesus is very important to both Patrick and Hannah, and their ceremony reflected that. I LOVED the foot washing ceremony they planned where they took turns washing each others feet to symbolize Jesus’s love for us, but also, their commitment to serve one another in their marriage. I am not much of a cryer. Seriously, Bryan cries more than I do. But when they were washing each other’s feet, I teared up. It was also pretty adorable watching Patrick figure out how to work Hannah’s heels!

 

Don’t even get me started on Hannah’s father daughter dance. Both Hannah and her dad couldn’t stop crying. I am not sure there was anyone with dry eyes honestly. It was just so beautiful.
